
In what authorities are describing as a suspicious incident, two individuals were found dead in a car in Bonita, likely turning a quiet residential area into a crime scene. The discovery was made yesterday morning, in the refined neighborhood at the intersection of Orchard Hill Road and Cresta Verde Lane.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, deputies arrived at the scene at approximately 11:12 a.m. after receiving a report regarding an unresponsive person inside a sedan. Upon their arrival, deputies soon found not one but two bodies inside of the parked vehicle. Acknowledging the case's peculiar circumstances, the Sheriff's Homicide Unit was called to take charge of the investigation.
The Sheriff's Department has not yet released the identities of the deceased, nor have they provided insight into the cause of death. These details are pending the findings of the Medical Examiner's Office.
